This project consisted of the refurbishment of the ground floor and mezzanine level retail areas together with the second floor commercial area.
The building was the North Block located between platforms 3 and 4 within the centre of the station and in the middle of the rail tracks, so careful consideration of the problems likely to occur had to be resolved before installation commenced, especially as the building was listed.
The services installed included air conditioning, ventilation, heating, hot & cold water, soil & waste and electronic controls.
Any possible problems such as specific timed deliveries, working in an area which required 24 hour, 7 day public access and installing services within a listed building were overcome to enable the project to be successfully completed to the clients’ satisfaction.
